HAMMOND, La. – Officials from the Southland Conference and Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) have decided to cancel the remaining baseball games against Nicholls. This choice came after assessing the outfield conditions at Pat Kenelly Diamond on Sunday.
Heavy rain over recent days, with reports suggesting up to six or seven inches in some areas, left the outfield too wet to play.
Looking ahead, the university is organizing an alternate Senior Day ceremony for this week to honor its players.
