NORMAN — This weekend, the Oklahoma and South Carolina softball series has some changes due to bad weather expected on Saturday in Norman.
The first game will still take place on Friday, March 7, at 6:30 p.m. CT. On Sunday, March 9, instead of one game, there will be a doubleheader. The first game will kick off at 1:30 p.m., with the second game starting about 40 minutes after the first one ends. This second game replaces the match originally scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m.
If you bought tickets for Saturday’s game, you can use them to enter the second game on Sunday. However, you’ll have to wait until the stadium is cleared after the first game ends to enter.
All fans need to exit the stadium after the first game. If you’re coming back for the second game, remember that you can’t bring back any food or drinks you bought during the first game.
If you can’t make it to the rescheduled Sunday game, contact where you bought your tickets for a refund or other options. For those with single-game standing-room tickets from Oklahoma Athletics for Saturday, you can exchange those for a future game or request a refund by emailing outickets@ou.edu or calling 405-325-2424.
Season ticket holders who can’t attend this weekend are encouraged to ensure their seats are filled. You can transfer your tickets, return them to OU, or sell them through OU’s Seat Share program. More details are available at soonersports.com/seatshare.
You can catch the first and third games of the series on SECN+. The 1:30 p.m. game on Sunday will be on SEC Network. Michele Smith will provide analysis, while Clay Matvick will handle play-by-play for the broadcasts. You can also listen to all the games on 1560 AM/103.3 FM The Franchise 2 and 107.7 FM The Franchise.
