India is making big moves in defence manufacturing, launching a series of projects in Andhra Pradesh to boost its capabilities. This effort aims to turn India into a key player in global defence production.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu celebrated the ground-breaking of several strategic defence initiatives with investments worth thousands of crores. India is also gearing up to create a “Drone City” in Kurnool, aiming to boost its drone manufacturing capabilities. Since 2014, India’s defence sector has progressed significantly.
