To top it off, he made history with five points in one outdoor NHL game, helping the New York Rangers beat the Florida Panthers 5-1 in the Winter Classic—the first outdoor game in Florida.
Zibanejad’s standout performance included three goals and two assists. Artemi Panarin added two goals, and Alexis Lafreniere set up three plays. Igor Shesterkin was solid in the net, stopping 36 shots. Notably, the Rangers became 6-0-0 in outdoor games.
