Jiggly Caliente, beloved star of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and judge on “Drag Race: Philippines,” has passed away at the age of 44. Her family announced the news on her Instagram, sharing that she died peacefully on April 27, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Known as Bianca Castro-Arabejo, Jiggly was a vibrant presence in entertainment and advocacy. Her family highlighted her infectious energy, humor, and authenticity, stressing the deep impact she made through her artistry and activism. “Though her physical presence is gone, the joy she shared will remain forever,” they wrote.

Jiggly first competed on Season 4 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” finishing eighth, and later returned for All Stars 6, where she placed 12th. Fans loved her for her talent, humor, and impressive dance moves. In 2022, she became a judge on “Drag Race Philippines,” contributing to the show for three seasons.

Originally from San Pedro, Philippines, Jiggly moved to the U.S. where she embraced her identity, coming out as transgender in 2016. Her drag name was inspired by the Pokémon character, Jigglypuff.

Beyond drag, she made notable appearances on shows like FX’s “Pose,” “Search Party,” and “Saturday Night Live.” Her debut album, “T.H.O.T. Process,” released in 2018, featured several prominent performers, including RuPaul and Peppermint.

Jiggly’s influence extends beyond entertainment. She was a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, speaking out for acceptance and representation. A recent survey found that nearly 70% of LGBTQ+ youth feel more supported when they see representation in media, showing the importance of figures like Jiggly in fostering a sense of community.
