New Delhi is home to the PM Gati Shakti Experiential Centre at Bharat Mandapam, a remarkable hub that showcases India’s innovation and technology while honoring its traditions. After visiting the centre, Justice Michael Wilson, a former Supreme Court judge from Hawaii, shared his admiration for this unique blend of modernity and heritage.

Professor Vesselin Popovski from Soka University in Japan echoed similar thoughts, calling the visit “absolutely spectacular.” He felt the centre beautifully represented the diversity and creativity of the Indian government. Together, they spent about 40 minutes exploring the high-tech installations.
Justice Wilson expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the opportunity to witness an innovative approach to global transportation challenges. He noted that the centre not only highlights local artistry and heritage but also emphasizes India’s commitment to sustainability.
“This experience truly captures the beauty and evolution of India,” Professor Popovski remarked, recognizing the country as a future global power. Both dignitaries believed the centre sends a hopeful message to the world.
Justice Wilson described the PM Gati Shakti and ODOP Experience Centre as a true testament to India’s brilliance, blending cutting-edge technology with rich traditions. He mentioned challenges faced in Hawaii, stating, “Prime Minister Modi’s vision here provides hope for the future.”
He was eager to bring the governor of Hawaii to India to witness this significant transformation firsthand. Wilson highlighted that the initiative not only represents India’s rich cultural legacy but also its innovative spirit, attracting global investment and collaboration.
The Gati Shakti Experiential Centre, located in the ITPO Complex in New Delhi, is designed as an audio-visual museum showcasing the PM Gati Shakti and One District One Product (ODOP) schemes. This state-of-the-art centre employs technologies like a 270-degree screen and holograms to promote awareness of logistics and transportation initiatives.
PM Gati Shakti integrates various infrastructure schemes from different ministries and state governments, including Bharatmala and Sagarmala, aimed at enhancing connectivity for people and goods. The initiative seeks to streamline transportation services and reduce travel times, ultimately improving last-mile connectivity.
