A new and exciting project is coming to Plano. Maranello, a company focused on luxury car owners, plans to build the state’s first “indoor-facing garage condos.” This unique concept was developed by Michael Holigan, a local real estate developer and passionate motorsport fan.

Holigan believes these condos will offer an unmatched experience for car enthusiasts. “There’s nothing like this in Texas,” he says. Owners will drive into the building to their garages, all facing inward. This design allows members to socialize and connect with fellow collectors regardless of the weather, creating a vibrant community for car lovers.

The price for these luxury garage condos will range from $600,000 to $1.35 million. The facility will be large, covering 200,000 square feet and sitting on over 11 acres in Plano, at the corner of Ohio Drive and Maple Shade Lane. It’s conveniently located just 20 minutes from major areas in Dallas and Fort Worth.

Construction will start soon, with hopes of opening by spring 2026. Holigan emphasizes that this space is designed specifically for high-end car collectors, offering them a chance to showcase and protect their prized vehicles while also hosting exciting automotive events.

Maranello plans to include 79 garage condos, sized between 1,000 and 2,000 square feet. Each unit will come with a steel mezzanine and stairs, as well as modern utilities. Owners can customize their garages with app-controlled heating and cooling, along with glass garage doors that open into the shared interior space.

The facility will also feature a spacious two-story lounge and a 60,000 square-foot open-air area for events. Holigan calls it “the premier location for car shows in Texas.”

The city of Plano is eager for the project to begin. Mayor John B. Muns expressed excitement about Maranello’s vision and the positive impact it will have on the community. “It will be a best-in-class facility for car enthusiasts,” he stated.
