Zouk Singapore is about to undergo some exciting changes! The popular nightclub and entertainment hub will close its doors for renovations starting January 17, 2024, with plans to finish up by June, just in time for its 35th anniversary celebration.
The transformation will affect Zouk Mainroom, Phuture, Capital, and RedTail. Capital kicks off the renovations first, while Zouk Mainroom and Phuture will close later in March. The revamp aims to create a fresh, lively atmosphere to attract even more visitors.
RedTail is shifting from just a restaurant and bar to a space for daytime events, which adds a new twist to the experience. Zouk Mainroom will introduce a flexible layout with movable acoustic walls, allowing the venue to adapt for everything from intimate gigs to large-scale events. There will also be upgrades in technology, including advanced sound systems for DJs and live acts, plus impressive LED screens for visually stunning presentations.
Zouk’s capacity will expand to accommodate up to 3,500 guests across all clubs. This renovation comes on the heels of a remarkable 28% growth in visitors over the past year, with expectations for a further 20% increase post-renovation.
Andrew Li, CEO of Zouk Group, expressed his commitment to enhancing entertainment in Singapore. This evolution aligns with Zouk’s long-standing reputation as a nightlife institution. In fact, Nicholas Lee, the centre manager at CQ @ Clarke Quay, emphasized that Zouk represents what it means to have a great time in Singapore.
