Nike has unveiled a fresh colorway for its popular skate shoe, the SB Jordan 4. When it debuted in 2023 with a minty “Pine Green,” it sold out almost instantly. This year, the lineup expanded to include the “Midnight Navy” version, and now we have the “Summit White Navy.”
This new sneaker features a sleek design primarily made from white leather, complemented by a blue heel and midsole, along with a touch of gray suede on the toebox. The Air Jordan 4 is a beloved silhouette, often regarded as one of the best in the Jordan lineup, perhaps only second to the AJ1. Its low-top style and chunky sole make it a perfect canvas for skate shoe innovation.
Unlike the original AJ4, which was crafted for basketball and later embraced by fashion enthusiasts, the SB Jordan 4 was modified to meet the needs of skaters. The changes include a narrower toebox and a less bulky build, though the overall shape remains generally the same. Many sneaker fans believe this model carries the same stylish appeal as the original AJ4.
As for how it performs while skating? That’s something only time will tell!
The Nike SB x AJ4 “Summit White Navy” is set to hit Nike’s website on March 18, with a price tag of around $225. While it may not carry the same cultural impact as the classic AJ4 just yet, its popularity is rapidly growing, and it’s sure to sell out quickly.
