Revealed: Exciting New Display Sizes for the Upcoming Foldable iPhone!

Apple is set to introduce its first foldable iPhone, featuring a 7.8-inch inner display and a 5.5-inch outer display. This information comes from TrendForce, a respected research firm, corroborating earlier reports from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 has an 8-inch inner display and a 6.5-inch outer screen, showing the competition in the foldable space. TrendForce anticipates Apple will launch its device in the second half of 2026, likely in September.

Recent insights suggest that the foldable iPhone will boast a “crease-free” inner display. Kuo explains Apple plans to achieve this using a unique laser-drilled metal display plate, which helps distribute stress from bending. This technology could significantly enhance the user experience by minimizing visible creases that often affect foldable screens.

In terms of camera setup, Kuo expects the foldable iPhone to have two rear cameras, one front camera, and a Touch ID power button instead of Face ID.
