Revealed: Trump’s Harsh Words About Epstein and Maxwell to Palm Beach Police During Initial Investigation

In a call back in 2006, Donald Trump expressed his concerns about Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell to Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter. He described Epstein as “disgusting” and labeled Maxwell “evil.” This interaction came to light through a document released by the Department of Justice in 2019.

Reiter shared that Trump called him to acknowledge the police work against Epstein, stating that many in New York were aware of Epstein’s wrongdoings. Trump even claimed he had kicked Epstein out of his Mar-a-Lago club. He mentioned being present when teenagers were around and quickly left the scene.

At that time, Epstein was already facing scrutiny. He later pleaded guilty in 2008 to charges involving an underage girl, avoiding federal prosecution. Sadly, Epstein died in a New York jail in August 2019 while awaiting trial for child sex trafficking. This incident raised questions surrounding his relationships, including those with high-profile figures like Trump and former President Bill Clinton.

Interestingly, a recent poll showed that public trust in law enforcement is waning, with only 54% of Americans expressing confidence in police. This backdrop hints at a shift in how society views celebrity connections versus accountability.

Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year sentence for her role in Epstein’s crimes, recently refused to testify before Congress. Her lawyer argued that she would share vital information if Trump granted her clemency, positing that she alone could explain the full truth behind Epstein’s actions and connections.

While Trump has not faced accusations related to Epstein, he has publicly distanced himself by highlighting past actions. According to White House statements, Trump removed Epstein from his club due to inappropriate behavior with female staff members.

These revelations underline a complex web of relationships and the ongoing societal conversation about accountability, power, and justice.
