Revolutionary Xiaomi Tracker: No Case Required for Easy Key Clipping!

Xiaomi has launched its first Bluetooth tracker, the Xiaomi Tag. It features a sleek, elongated design that makes it versatile for everyday use. You can easily attach it to keyrings or clip it onto bags thanks to its built-in metal loop.

This tracker is compatible with both Apple’s Find My and Google’s Find Hub. However, you can’t use both networks at once—you’ll need to choose one during setup. Like Apple’s AirTag, it runs on a replaceable CR2032 battery, offering about a year of life. Plus, it’s rated IP67, which means it can handle some water and dust without issue. If someone finds your lost item, they can tap the tag with their phone to access your contact information.

One key difference from AirTags is that the Xiaomi Tag doesn’t use ultra-wideband (UWB) technology, which provides precise location tracking. Instead, you’ll need to rely on sound alerts when you’re close by. Despite this limitation, it’s a budget-friendly option at £12.99 (approximately $18) each, or £44.99 (around $61) for a pack of four. In comparison, a single second-generation AirTag costs $29, or $99 for a four-pack.

According to a recent survey by Statista, 45% of people say they often misplace their belongings, highlighting the growing demand for these trackers. Experts suggest that as more devices become integrated with smart technology, the need for affordable and efficient tracking solutions will only increase.

Overall, the Xiaomi Tag offers a simple and cost-effective way to keep track of your personal items, especially for those who don’t need high-end features. It’s a great option for anyone looking to add a little extra help in keeping their belongings safe.
