The electric Dodge Charger might not be the dream car many were hoping for. Thankfully, Dodge has introduced the Charger Sixpack, which comes with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine. This option is turning out to be a real crowd-pleaser.
At this year’s SEMA Show, Dodge is putting the spotlight on the Charger Sixpack with numerous upgrades. Officially known as the Moparized Charger Sixpack Concept, it boasts a sleek Stryker Purple exterior, complete with stylish carbon-fiber accents on the hood, front splitter, and rear spoiler.
The Charger rides on bold 21-inch wheels painted in Dodge’s unique Brass Monkey color, complemented by eye-catching orange Brembo brake calipers. The design also includes vented fenders that enhance aerodynamics and a lowered suspension for a sporty look.
Inside, you’ll find a luxurious blend of Katzkin leather featuring contrasting black and tan tones. The custom orange and purple stitching ties the interior to the exterior style perfectly.
Performance-wise, minor tweaks add a personal touch. A Mopar cold-air intake and a stainless-steel exhaust system help maintain its factory specs—550 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque. This keeps the driving experience enjoyable while still staying true to its roots.
Dodge’s decision to showcase this powerful muscle car comes at a time when the automotive industry is shifting more toward electric models. Interestingly, data from a recent survey shows that while many consumers are curious about electric vehicles, a significant portion still favors traditional gas-powered cars for performance and driving experience.
The Charger Sixpack will be displayed alongside other imaginative concepts, like the Ram 1500 “The Dude,” which pays homage to classic trucks from the 1970s. These vehicles demonstrate Dodge’s commitment to innovation while respecting automotive history.
