Purple Power: Purple, a global public relations firm under the Together Group, has promoted Richard Danks to executive vice president for lifestyle in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Danks, who has been with Purple since 2021, previously led the U.K. lifestyle division, bringing in high-profile clients like Soho House and Porsche.
Under Danks’ leadership, the lifestyle sector at Purple has seen strong growth, consistently achieving double-digit gains over the past three years. He will now focus on expanding the agency’s influence in the Middle East, an area the agency is prioritizing.
Danks is set to collaborate closely with Frame Publicity in Dubai, a company Purple acquired in 2024. He believes the Middle East is evolving into a vibrant market, where local brands are gaining international recognition. “Culturally, the Middle East has shifted from being seen as just an executional market to a region respected for its unique heritage,” he stated.
Fergus Lawlor, CEO of Purple, praised Danks for his contributions and his role in the agency’s strategic growth. This new leadership position comes at an exciting time when Purple aims to enhance its presence both domestically and internationally, providing ample opportunities for the team to excel.
In addition to focusing on the Middle East, Danks mentioned that Purple is actively seeking new business ventures in Europe. The agency is part of Together Group, which is made up of creative minds specializing in luxury and lifestyle marketing globally. Together Group, co-founded by Paul Sheehy and Brad Fry, aims to provide comprehensive marketing solutions for various clients.
Purple continues to evolve, positioning itself as a leading player in the public relations landscape.
