AAP Allegation On Parvesh Verma: Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Wednesday (December 25, 2024) accused Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Pravesh Verma of distributing money amongst ladies in New Delhi Assembly constituency. Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal had alleged that Rs 1,100 was being paid to ladies voters in his constituency.
Regarding this, ABP News talked to ladies exterior Pravesh Verma’s house. These ladies say that they have been given a card and an envelope containing Rs 1100. It has been said that if BJP wins then the quantity will be elevated from Rs 1100 to Rs 2500. A woman said, “We are coming from inside and have received Rs 1100. He has said that if he wins, he will give Rs 2500.” Another woman said, “Eleven hundred rupees have been received and they have been asked to vote on the lotus flower.”
Jarnail Singh demanded motion
While sharing the video, Tilak Nagar MLA Janrail Singh wrote on social media platform X (previously Twitter), “BJP leader Pravesh Verma was caught publicly distributing money to voters. ₹1100 is being distributed to women at 20 Windsor Place, the official residence of BJP leader Pravesh Verma. ED-CBI and Delhi Police should raid his residence, crores of rupees were kept there. BJP leader Parvesh Verma should be arrested and now the Election Commission should also answer in this matter.”

What did Arvind Kejriwal say?
Kejriwal wrote on Twitter, “I have just come from many areas of my New Delhi assembly constituency. Everywhere people told me that these people are openly buying votes. They are paying Rs 1100 for one vote. People said That people will take money from him, but will not vote for him.”
