RM Celebrates BTS’s Historic Billboard Triumph: Heartfelt ‘Luv and Gratitude’ as They Dominate the Charts!

BTS is topping charts again, and their fans, known as ARMY, couldn’t be happier. RM, one of the group’s leaders, shared his excitement on Instagram after BTS hit No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 with their latest album, ARIRANG. He expressed his gratitude, saying, “Sending my love and gratitude” to fans for their support.

The single “SWIM” from this album marks BTS’ seventh song to reach the Hot 100’s top spot, the first since 2021, just before they announced a hiatus. This is indeed a lucky number for them; ARIRANG is their seventh album to conquer the Billboard 200 chart!

Released on March 20, ARIRANG is their first album in four years and made a huge splash by racking up 641,000 equivalent album units in its debut week. This is the highest for any group since Billboard started counting units in 2014, with a whopping 532,000 from pure sales. This makes it the most successful week for a group album in over a decade.

BTS is setting records again, becoming the group with the most No. 1 albums on Billboard since the Bee Gees achieved this milestone between 1971 and 1979. They now rank fourth overall for total No. 1 hits, behind legendary groups like The Beatles and The Supremes.

The group’s impact isn’t limited to one chart. BTS has taken control of the top nine spots on the Global 200 chart, tying with Taylor Swift for the most top 10s in a single week. With ARIRANG, they also made history by being the first act to secure all top 10 positions on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.

In a recent survey, 75% of fans expressed excitement about BTS’s return, highlighting their strong connection with the audience. Their influence can be felt across social media platforms, where hashtags related to their music generate millions of mentions.

As BTS continues to push boundaries, they remind us that music remains a powerful force, uniting fans worldwide.
