Teddi Mellencamp, known for her connection to rock star John Mellencamp and her role on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” recently shared tough news about her health. She is battling brain cancer and has undergone surgery to remove tumors.
After her surgery, Teddi received the results of a follow-up scan. She shared on Instagram that not all tumors could be removed. “I have multiple tumors in my brain that weren’t able to be removed via surgery. I also have 2 tumors in my lung. These are all metastases of my melanoma,” she explained.
While the news is difficult, Teddi remains hopeful. She mentioned that her doctors are optimistic about using immunotherapy to treat her condition. With a positive attitude, she stated, “I believe I will win this battle. I’m getting used to my new wig and I want to remember all of Angelina’s kids’ names. So to cancer, I say: get lost!”
At 43, Teddi first faced melanoma when doctors found it on her shoulder earlier this year. She underwent surgery then as well. Following her recent announcement, fans filled her social media post with support and prayers.
Teddi’s journey is a reminder of the strength many show in the face of adversity, and her spirit shines through her challenges.
