Before joining the Dodgers, Sasaki had been with the Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan’s Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) league. His stats speak for themselves: he has a 2.35 ERA and an impressive strikeout-to-walk ratio of 5.76. His remarkable performance included a 19-strikeout perfect game in April 2022, showcasing his potential.

The Dodgers can only trade bonus pool space in increments of $250,000, so they may need to make a few transactions to meet the $6.5 million total.
