Betty White was a beloved figure, known for her roles in “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “The Golden Girls.” However, not everyone shared the same admiration. Sally Struthers, famous for her role in “All In The Family,” recently opened up about her experience with White and it wasn’t all positive.

During a recent podcast interview, Struthers revealed that her interactions with White were less than enjoyable. She acknowledged how much fans loved White but expressed that she had “didn’t have such a great experience” with her.
Struthers shared a moment from their time working together on a game show pilot. She recalled a situation where White made a comment when she reached for a cookie. White told her, “Oh, I wouldn’t do that if I were you, dear, you don’t need a cookie.” Struthers felt hurt by this remark, describing it as “fat-shaming” in front of others. “Gosh, that’s not nice,” she thought at the time.
On a brighter note, Struthers had fond memories of Bea Arthur, White’s co-star on “The Golden Girls.” Struthers first met Arthur when she guest-starred on “All In The Family.” Their friendship blossomed, and years later, they would laugh together in grocery stores, sharing hilarious stories about their experiences in the industry.
Struthers fondly remembered Arthur’s witty remarks, saying, “She would trash everyone we ever knew. I loved how filthy she was.”
