Samsung is on a roll with updates for its Galaxy S24 devices. Just after releasing One UI 7 Beta 4, they’ve already introduced Beta 5 in select areas. Users are eager for the Android 15 update.
The Android 15 beta, known as One UI 7, began in December 2024. This rollout came later than usual for Samsung. The beta has been running for a while, but there’s no word yet on when the final version will launch. So far, Samsung hasn’t extended the beta to other Galaxy models either.
Beta 3 was out in early January. There was a noticeable gap of over a month before Beta 4 arrived earlier this week. So, Beta 5’s quick arrival is a surprise.
This new update, noticed by Jeff Springer from SammyGuru and SamMobile, is relatively small, just 436.20MB. The update mainly addresses a “VVM crash issue,” likely tied to visual voicemail features.
Some users thought the One UI 7 beta program had ended, based on a post in Samsung’s forums.
There are whispers that at least one more beta will drop before the full release, which could happen around April.
