When it comes to her go-to snack, Leva loves “Lays chips with ranch dressing.” She’s even joked, “I’m pretty sure my son was made by that,” referring to her son, Lamar “Little” Jr., born in January 2018. She humorously mentioned that this combination was all she could keep down during the first month of her pregnancy.

Another treat she enjoys is Ferrero Rocher chocolate. It’s a sweet indulgence that adds a little joy to her day.

Leva also reminisces about special meals from her childhood. For her birthday, she’d always look forward to her parents making Fesenjoon, a Persian dish with chicken, pomegranate, and walnuts. This dish holds a special place in her heart, reminding her of family gatherings with loved ones who have since passed. And, of course, there were always a box of mangoes to enjoy!

On a first date, Leva would opt for something light, like a charcuterie board, which offers a mix of delicious flavors without being too filling.

She has a unique taste in snacks too. One of her favorites is a blend of eggs, tomatoes, and cottage cheese, all sprinkled with salt. It’s a quirky combination that keeps her satisfied.

Leva loves to experiment in the kitchen. She’s always creating new recipes, especially when it comes to mushrooms. Whether she’s making grilled cheese or another dish, she can’t resist adding them. She also enjoys putting her twist on traditional recipes. For instance, she likes to enhance Tahdig, a crispy rice dish, by adding caramelized onions and tortillas at the bottom for added flavor and texture.

Looking back, she recalls foods she disliked as a child, such as pomegranate and green vegetables, which she now thoroughly enjoys. If she had to choose a last meal, it would be steak and creamed corn. She and her husband have developed a love for finding great steakhouses during their travels. When it comes to steak, she loves adding truffle butter and a side of creamed horseradish for that perfect finishing touch.
