Organized by YouSkilled Home, a lively workshop got kids moving with fun activities like tug-of-war and the Ninja Rush, an exciting obstacle course. The goal was to encourage physical fitness in a playful setting, helping children enjoy exercise while learning teamwork.

Maxim Papliauko, a physical fitness instructor at YouSkilled Home, emphasized, “Fitness can be fun. Games like these create lasting habits by making exercise enjoyable.” This approach aims to instill a love for fitness in young participants.

For 11-year-old Faizee Zayan from India, the workshop was an eye-opener. “I didn’t know exercise could be this fun,” he said, catching his breath after tug-of-war. Twelve-year-old Abu Yousaf from Afghanistan felt similarly excited, saying, “It felt like being in a movie. I want to come again!”

Parents and organizers praised the event for promoting healthy habits in an engaging way. One facilitator noted, “This is the kind of hands-on learning we love to see. It’s about fun, but also developing life skills through action.” The turnout has been impressive every day, indicating the workshop’s success.

Recent studies show that active play significantly impacts children’s physical health. According to the CDC, only 24% of children get the recommended daily physical activity. Workshops like this could help close that gap by making physical activity appealing.
