SGMC Health Appoints Early as New Director of Supply Chain: What This Means for Healthcare Efficiency

SGMC Health is excited to introduce David Early as the new Director of Supply Chain. With 18 years of experience in healthcare supply chain management and a background in manufacturing, David brings a lot to the table.

In his new role, David will manage purchasing, receiving, and value analysis at SGMC Health. His efforts will focus on making sure the supply chain runs smoothly, is cost-effective, and maintains high quality. This work is vital for ensuring that healthcare teams have the resources they need to provide excellent patient care.

“I’m really looking forward to this opportunity at SGMC Health,” said David. “The supply chain is essential in healthcare. It makes sure that clinicians have access to the right tools at the right time. I’m excited to apply my experience to improve these processes.”

David holds a Master of Healthcare Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University, along with a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Covenant College. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), highlighting his dedication to healthcare leadership.

Outside of work, David is married to Beth, and they share three children. His strengths in teamwork, data analysis, and ongoing improvement will enhance SGMC Health’s mission for high-quality patient care and operational effectiveness.
