Shedeur Sanders Celebrates First NFL Touchdown, Powers Browns to Victory Against Raiders

Shedeur Sanders stepped up in his second NFL start, showing a marked improvement from his first outing. Facing the Las Vegas Raiders, he threw for 209 yards, completing 11 of 20 passes. He secured his first touchdown and led the Cleveland Browns to a solid 24-10 victory. “I know a lot of people want me to fail,” Sanders said after the game. “But that’s not going to happen.” He felt “relaxed” on the field, crediting his week of preparation for his performance.

Sanders, a fifth-round pick, is already drawing attention, largely due to his famous father, Deion Sanders, and his impressive college career at the University of Colorado. After this game, he has something more than just pressure—he has results.

Solid Performance

In his previous start, Sanders struggled, completing only 4 of 16 passes when he had to jump in mid-game after the starting quarterback suffered a concussion. The difference this time was clear.
