Shocking Incident: Man Arrested for Stalking Jennifer Aniston and Crashing into Her Home

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Mississippi man has been charged with felony stalking and vandalism after allegedly harassing Jennifer Aniston for two years. Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, 48, from New Albany, Mississippi, faces additional charges for threatening bodily harm, according to Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman.

Carwyle has been in jail since his arrest on Monday and will be arraigned shortly. His bail is set at $150,000, but it’s unclear if he has hired a lawyer.

The harassment began in 2023, involving unwanted voicemail, emails, and social media messages, with Carwyle being identified only as Jennifer A. in court documents. His actions escalated when he crashed his vehicle through the front gate of Aniston’s home in Bel Air, causing significant damage. A security guard stopped him before police arrived.

Thankfully, Aniston was home at the time, but no injuries were reported. Representatives for Aniston did not respond to requests for comment.

If convicted, Carwyle could face up to three years in prison. Hochman emphasized his office’s commitment to aggressively tackle stalking cases to ensure victims feel safe.

Aniston, who purchased her midcentury mansion for about $21 million in 2012, gained fame on NBC’s “Friends.” She earned an Emmy Award for her iconic role and has received nine additional nominations. Currently, she stars in “The Morning Show” on Apple TV+.
