Shocking Incident: Woman Allegedly Throws Chewed Food at Restaurant Employee in Cape Girardeau!

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Alaina Beck, a 51-year-old woman, was arrested for causing a scene at a local restaurant. The trouble began when staff asked her to leave, leading to an unusual response.

It’s reported that Beck became belligerent and intoxicated while at the establishment. When she was told to leave after closing time, she didn’t take it well. As a staff member was packing up her food, Beck decided to reach into her mouth, pull out chewed food, and throw it at the employee, hitting her in the chest.

Police were called around 10:09 p.m. on January 16. When officers arrived, they found Beck walking away from the restaurant. When they asked her to stop and put her hands behind her back, she resisted, trying to pull her arm away. It took two officers to take her into custody without further trouble.

Beck now faces several charges, including fourth-degree assault and trespassing. She was also charged with resisting arrest and left the restaurant with an unpaid bill of $50.92, despite having around $660 in cash when arrested. Her bond has been set at $2,500.

The incident was captured on video, showing the unusual and chaotic moments that unfolded that night.
