As many individuals express concern for their loved ones abroad, the Indian Embassy in Tehran is working diligently to assist those stranded, especially students wishing to cross into Armenia and Azerbaijan. The embassy has issued safety advisories and is providing guidance for smooth transit.
In the education sector, the MES has prioritized support for students in Gulf countries. Exams for classes 10 and 12 have been canceled due to the unrest, with the respective boards promising to determine marks fairly.
The situation is fluid. Despite some airspace closures, flight operations appear to be improving overall. For instance, Qatar Airways is still providing flights to India, illustrating a partial normalcy in air travel.
Experts warn that these tensions could have long-lasting impacts on the region. “It’s essential for nations to work together to stabilize the area and protect their citizens,” says Dr. Laila Ahmed, a Middle East analyst.
