Justin Erbacci, the director general of ACI World, has shared insights about future growth. He pointed out that while North American airports rebounded swiftly, the biggest growth is expected in Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Africa. Even with challenges such as geopolitical tensions and delays in aircraft production, ACI remains hopeful. Erbacci suggests that if current patterns continue, global air traffic could double by 2045.
