Soulberry Natural Market Partners with Kin as Food Sponsor in New Hope: A Flavorful Collaboration!

NEW HOPE, PA — Soulberry Natural Market, a beloved local store, has teamed up with the Kin Wellness and Support Center in Buckingham. They are now the official sponsor of Kin’s Food Program.

Soulberry will supply fresh, organic food for Kin’s program. They will also host cooking demonstrations every few months. During these events, a local chef will cook a healthy dish while cancer patients and their caregivers watch. Attendees can sample the food and take home the recipe along with a bag of the ingredients to recreate the dish themselves.

Each demo will include a nutritionist or dietitian who will share tips on healthy cooking and suggest alternatives for the recipes. Keith Fenimore from Kin shared, “This program is very popular. It’s a chance to eat, learn, and connect with others. For many, it serves as a special night out.” He emphasized that this program wouldn’t be possible without Soulberry’s help and praised the team’s commitment.

Owners Ameer and Brittany Yassin, who run Soulberry, have always prioritized supporting their community. They have had a collection jar for Kin at their register for the past three years. Brittany expressed excitement about the partnership, saying, “Kin is a vital resource for our community. Their work helps many individuals on their cancer journeys, and we are honored to support that.”

The first cooking demonstration will kick off in late February or early March. In March, Soulberry will also launch a campaign to raise funds for Kin’s Food Program.

Previously, Organnons Natural Market in Wrightstown sponsored Kin’s Food Program. Kristina Fenimore thanked them for their generous support over the years, acknowledging their contributions to the cancer community.

In the past, chefs from various local establishments like The Rooster & The Carrot and Millie’s Brunch have participated in Kin’s cooking demos. Keith Fenimore encouraged the community to shop local, highlighting how supporting Soulberry helps Kin and the local cancer community as well.
