The U.S. Space Force’s X-37B space plane has begun its latest mission. The uncrewed craft launched on August 21, 2023, from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida using a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

After a smooth ascent, the Falcon 9 first stage touched down at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, while the upper stage carried the X-37B into low Earth orbit. Not much is known about its mission details, as the Space Force prefers to keep some aspects classified.
