Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya Celebrates ISRL’s Role in Elevating India as a Global Motorsports Hub

Pune, Maharashtra — On October 26, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya expressed his support for the Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) ahead of its much-awaited second season. He praised the league as a promising sign of India’s rising reputation in global motorsports.

Mandaviya highlighted the enthusiasm and self-confidence growing in India, stating that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047” is becoming a reality for the youth. He said, “It’s encouraging to see our sports ecosystem aligning with this vision.”

The Minister pointed out how ISRL is transforming motorsports in India. “The Indian Supercross Racing League showcases our potential in high-performance sports. I’ve been closely watching the league and can confirm it reflects the speed, spirit, and strength of Indian youth,” he noted.

Mandaviya added that the first season of ISRL established India’s ability to compete globally. “The upcoming season is not just an event; it symbolizes India’s ambition in motorsports. ISRL can propel Indian motorsports forward and motivate youth to chase their dreams,” he said.

Events like ISRL are crucial in fostering a culture of adventure and innovation among young talent in India. They contribute to building a strong multi-sport ecosystem, essential for the country’s future in sports. Recent statistics show that interest in motorsports is increasing, with a survey revealing that over 60% of young Indians are keen on participating in such adrenaline-pumping activities.

As ISRL gears up for its second season, it’s clear that sports like these not only entertain but also inspire the next generation to aim higher. By nurturing talent and creating robust infrastructure, India is poised to make its mark on the global sports stage.
