Emergency Food Access in Fairfax County

She Believes In Me Drive
Started by a school counselor and local educators, She Believes In Me (SBIM) is hosting its annual Thanksgiving drive. The drive ends on November 21. They need volunteers and donations. Providence District Food Drive
Supervisor Dalia Palchick is coordinating a food drive benefiting Merrifield’s Food for Others and various school pantries. The drive runs until November 15. Mobile Market in Hybla Valley

Reston Community Center Initiative
The Reston Community Center is working with Cornerstones to provide Thanksgiving meals. They’re accepting non-perishable food and essential items at various locations until November 26. You can also shop for items online and have them shipped to the center. Details are at RCC’s website.
Cornerstones Holiday Drives
Cornerstones is running two significant holiday drives. Their Thanksgiving food drive goes until November 27. Support can be through financial donations, shopping an Amazon wishlist, or building a food box with a grocery gift card. Franconia District and Mount Vernon Initiatives
Franconia District Supervisor Rodney Lusk is organizing a food drive until November 30, benefiting local charities. In Mount Vernon, Supervisor Dan Storck’s drive continues until December 5, focusing on supporting local students and families. McLean Community Center Donations
The McLean Community Center is gathering food, hygiene products, and clothing donations for Share of McLean, a local food pantry. Donation boxes are available in their lobby through December 19.
