Springtime Science Series: Engage with Health Information Experts for Invaluable Insights!

Spring is here, and so is the Springtime Science webinar series! This program aims to make health research more accessible to everyone in the community.

In today’s world, finding accurate health information can be tricky. Many misleading and unsafe sources flood the internet. To tackle this issue, we need to work together. Researchers, educators, and community leaders must collaborate to share trustworthy, research-backed information with the public.

The University of Illinois, alongside the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute and Illinois Extension, has created the Springtime Science 2025 webinar series. This series is part of the Community Seminar Series and offers a chance to learn about the latest in health research, discover reliable health resources, and directly engage with U of I researchers.

Max Wallace, a visiting research project coordinator at IHSI, highlights the value of this program. He says, “The passion and dedication of our presenters continually inspires me. It’s amazing to see experts discuss topics that genuinely impact our community’s well-being. This program shows how collaboration can lead to real change.”

All sessions take place from Noon to 1 p.m. Topics will cover a range of current health issues.
