Star-Studded Oscars 2025: Academy Award Nominees Unite for Iconic Class Photo

Recently, nominees for the 97th Academy Awards came together at the Academy Museum for a special dinner. This event also included the tradition of a group photo, capturing the year’s talented contenders.

In the front row, you could spot stars like Mikey Madison, Ariana Grande, Zoe Saldaña, Cynthia Erivo, and Isabella Rossellini. The back rows featured notable figures such as Denis Villeneuve, Adrien Brody, Colman Domingo, Timothée Chalamet, and Ralph Fiennes among many others.

This year’s Oscar season has been quite busy and unusual. It’s not just because several major categories are up in the air, but also because of the recent fires in Los Angeles. The photo event, which usually happens as a luncheon, had to be rescheduled due to the fires that affected areas like Pacific Palisades and Altadena.

The deadline for voting on Oscar nominations was originally January 12 but was postponed to January 17 due to the fires. Similarly, the announcement for the nominations shifted from January 17 to January 23. However, the Oscars themselves will still take place on March 2, despite some calls from celebrities to cancel the event.

Bill Kramer, the Academy CEO, and Janet Yang, the Academy President, expressed their commitment to the film industry during these challenging times. “The Academy has always been a unifying force, and we stand together in the face of hardship,” they remarked in light of the ongoing situation.
