Fourteen years after Frodo’s journey, Sam’s daughter Elanor uncovers a hidden secret that may explain how the War of the Ring almost faltered before it truly began.
Colbert, a lifelong fan of Tolkien, has a deep appreciation for the source material. He stated that the creative group, including Jackson, Fran Walsh, and Boyens, were excited about the project.
