Mackenzie Arndt from Sterling has proudly graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She received a bachelor’s degree from the School of Education during a commencement ceremony on May 18. A total of 2,919 students earned their degrees that day.

Rock Falls Student Shines at Pennsylvania Western University

Claire Bickett, a resident of Rock Falls, has made it onto the dean’s list at Pennsylvania Western University for her impressive grades this spring. To achieve this honor, students need a GPA of 3.4 or higher while completing at least 12 credit hours. Claire studies at the Clarion campus.

Dixon Students Excel at Cedarville University

Madisyn Rubright and Alivia Rubright from Dixon have earned a spot on the dean’s list at Cedarville University for the spring semester. They both achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher and completed a minimum of 12 credit hours. Cedarville University, known for its strong focus on arts and sciences, is an evangelical Christian institution. Newman Central Catholic High School Graduates Stand Out

In Sterling, Newman Central Catholic High School recently announced that its graduating class secured over $3.3 million in scholarships. This year’s class of 42 students not only excelled academically but also contributed to athletics, fine arts, and community service.

Gehrig Koerner, the school’s director of marketing and enrollment, shared, “These numbers reflect hard work, but more importantly, our students balance academics with sports, service, faith, and friendship. They are prepared to positively impact our community.”
