Meanwhile, Ambassador Bhandari shared Nepal’s success in maintaining its forests—a remarkable 45% of the country is forested. He emphasized the potential for both countries to collaborate on climate initiatives, especially through platforms like BIMSTEC.
Top officials, including Ministry Secretary Md. Raihan Kawsar, were also part of these discussions. They agreed that working together to combat climate change and enhance forest management would be beneficial for both nations.
