In response, USC issued a statement. Dirk de Jong, Assistant Vice President of USC Hospitality, emphasized their commitment to food safety. “We serve 30-40,000 meals daily and consistently receive high marks from health inspections,” he said. He also mentioned the school is investigating these reports and is working to improve inspection processes.
