Chuck Panozzo, co-founder of the iconic rock band Styx, is selling his stunning, Asian-inspired home in South Florida for $1.75 million. Nestled in Wilton Manors, this two-bedroom, three-bath property reflects a tropical Zen ambiance with features like a swimming pool, koi ponds, and beautiful sculptures.
Built in 1952, the house, known as “La Serenidad,” spans 1,608 square feet. Panozzo, who bought it for just $305,000 in 2007, has created a personal escape filled with tranquility. “This house is special to me because of the magic it has,” he shared, emphasizing how the space allows him to relax, reflect, or entertain, depending on his mood.
With a large office that can serve as a third bedroom, the home also offers a backyard reminiscent of a resort, complete with fountains and gazebos. It’s just a short walk from the bustling Wiltern Drive, making it both a peaceful retreat and a convenient location.
Panozzo co-founded Styx in 1972 with his late twin brother, John, and Denis DeYoung. The band has sold over 54 million records worldwide and remains a staple in rock music, known for hits like “Come Sail Away” and “Mr. Roboto.” As of late 2023, they are active on tour, promoting their latest studio album “Circling From Above,” released in July.
