A young entrepreneur from Summerland has made waves in the beverage industry by creating delightful fruit sodas. Andrew Warburton, the mind behind Peak Beverage Co., has earned a spot on BC Business’s 30 Under 30 list.
At just 22, Andrew started his company two years ago, aiming to craft high-quality, alcohol-free drinks. Inspired by the attention to detail in breweries and wineries, he wanted to bring that same passion to non-alcoholic options.
“Our aim is to offer unique flavors that reflect B.C. and are free from artificial ingredients,” he shared.
Some of his standout creations include haskap lemonade and apple rhubarb sodas, both promoted as premium, all-natural options.
The idea for his business sparked in 2020 right after he graduated from high school. Through a mix of hands-on experimentation and thorough research, he learned how to make these refreshing drinks.
Andrew began brewing in his parents’ garage. However, as demand grew, he partnered with a co-packer in August 2024 to increase production. He has since ramped up his output five times to keep up with popularity.
He believes that more people are shifting towards non-alcoholic beverages, which has helped fuel his success. “There’s a rising trend of sober curiosity among consumers,” he explained.
You can find these tasty drinks at various locations in Summerland, such as Zias Stonehouse Restaurant, Detonate Brewing, and Shaughnessy’s Cove. They’re also available at Summerland Home Hardware and are making their way into restaurants across the Okanagan Valley, the Lower Mainland, and even Vancouver Island.
