He highlighted the troubling situation of the Iranian warship IRIS Dena, which was sunk by the US shortly after it participated in a naval exercise in India. He stated, “Why should India need another country’s approval to secure its own energy needs?” The sinking of the IRIS Dena, which led to the deaths of at least 87 Iranian sailors, raised alarms.
