Reid shared her story with TMZ, explaining that she had a drink at the hotel bar and stepped outside for a cigarette. When she returned, her glass of wine was covered with a napkin. She drank from it, and the next thing she remembers is waking up in the hospital. Reid believes her drink was tampered with and has filed a police report.
However, a spokesperson from the Rosemont Public Safety department noted that they have not received any reports related to her case and did not confirm any allegations of drugging.
In her representative’s statement, Reid emphasized the importance of being cautious and watching drinks, as anyone could face such a situation. She is currently recovering and requests privacy during this challenging time.
