Gujarat News: In Botad district of Gujarat, police on Saturday (January 4) detained a girl in reference to the suicide of her husband. The girl Jaya Sathadia is accused of abetting suicide resulting from psychological harassment. According to the police, 39-year-old Suresh Sathdiya had dedicated suicide by hanging himself in his home in Jamrala village on December 30. On the idea of the criticism lodged by Suresh’s father Babu Sathdiya, a case has been registered in opposition to Jaya beneath part 108 of the Indian Justice Code.

According to a report in Times of India, in a video obtained from Suresh’s cell phone, he was seen crying and making severe allegations in opposition to his spouse. In the video, he mentioned, “To teach her a lesson that she will remember for the rest of her life. She was neither mine nor my children’s. She betrayed me and forced me to die.”

Had recorded video earlier than suicide

According to the FIR, Jaya usually quarreled along with her husband and went to her maternal dwelling. On the day of the incident, Suresh had gone to Jaya’s dad and mom’ home to deliver her dwelling, however Jaya refused to return. After this Suresh returned dwelling and recorded a video earlier than committing suicide.

This video was discovered in his cell phone, but it surely was neither despatched to anybody nor shared on social media. Suresh’s father mentioned that the household was busy with the final rites resulting from which there was a delay in submitting the criticism. Suresh has 4 elder brothers and two sisters.

Police is investigating the matter

Botad Deputy Superintendent of Police N.P. Ahir mentioned, “We have detained the woman and sent the video for forensic examination. We will present the accused in the court and seek remand so that the nature of the harassment can be investigated in depth.” Suresh and Jaya have been married for 17 years and have 4 youngsters. The police is now investigating the matter in element.
