Texas tight end Jack Endries, one of the top prospects for the 2026 NFL draft, has announced he is leaving college early to pursue his NFL dreams. Endries is currently ranked as the No. 3 tight end by analyst Mel Kiper Jr. Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 236 pounds, he has shown remarkable talent and adaptability during his time at Cal and Texas.
Over four years in college, Endries has built an impressive resume. He tallied 124 receptions, 1,376 yards, and seven touchdowns. “I think I’m ready to take the next step,” he told ESPN. “I’ve enjoyed my college experience, but I’m eager to chase my NFL dreams.”
Endries has started all 39 games in his last three seasons, showcasing his reliability. He began his standout career at Cal, where he led the team in receiving yards in 2024 with 623 on 56 catches. This season at Texas, he caught 33 passes for 346 yards and three touchdowns.
Endries expressed gratitude for his time at Texas, highlighting the high level of coaching. “The training here is top-notch,” he said. “I’ve improved my blocking and receiving skills, and I feel ready.”
His on-field performance speaks for itself. He had a standout game against Texas A&M, catching four passes for 93 yards. In the Citrus Bowl against Michigan, he also showcased his skills with five catches for 35 yards and a touchdown.
