The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister authorized the continuation of the Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Scheme and the Restructured Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme until 2025-26 with a complete outlay of Rs 69,515.71 crore from the year 2021-22 to the year 2025-26.
