Aidan Knaak was the standout pitcher for Clemson, throwing 7.1 innings and allowing only five hits and four runs, while striking out four batters. Lucas Mahlstedt sealed the game with a flawless ninth inning, notching his 10th save of the year. For California, Austin Turkington took the loss, giving up five hits and five runs in 6.2 innings, but he did achieve nine strikeouts.
