This weekend, the Pumas pulled off a thrilling win against a top team in San Francisco. After struggling in the second quarter, they rallied from a 12-point deficit in the final period. A surge of energy helped them score 23 points in the fourth, sending the game into overtime.

In the first overtime, Carrillo had a four-point lead, but University fought back to tie it. In the second overtime, Carrillo took control, finishing with a 9-1 run. This win brings the Pumas’ record to 7-3.

Handani Daveta shone with a double-double: 18 points, 14 rebounds, along with four blocks and three steals. Dani Silacci also excelled, scoring 21 points, mainly in the fourth quarter.
