His performance thus far includes an 86-yard passing game, 65 rushing yards, and a touchdown. Coach Mike Vrabel seems optimistic about Maye’s availability despite the struggles.
It’s worth noting that injuries can impact a team’s performance. According to a recent report by the NFL Players Association, around 66% of players have been impacted by significant injuries at some point in a season. This emphasizes the importance of player health, especially during critical games.
On the roster, the practice window remains open for some players returning from injuries, including Jennings and rookie defensive tackle Farmer, who also had a hamstring issue earlier in the season. The team is focused on maximizing their performance as they head into this pivotal match.
