NIC Unveils Fall Semester Dean’s List
North Idaho College recently released its fall 2024 dean’s list. To qualify, students needed to be enrolled in at least 12 credits and achieve a GPA of 3.75 or higher. This semester, NIC recognized 381 students for their academic excellence, and 221 students graduated.
Here are some local students who made the dean’s list:

Geyman Achieves President’s List at LeTourneau University
Jonathan Geyman from Bonners Ferry has made it onto the fall 2024 president’s list at LeTourneau University in Texas. This prestigious recognition is reserved for students who maintain a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Dr. Steven D. Mason, President of LeTourneau University, praised the students, saying, “I’m especially impressed with these honor roll students, and I expect them to have a significant impact on our future.”
LeTourneau University is known for its Christian polytechnic education, located in Longview, Texas, about 120 miles east of Dallas.
SNHU Honors Local Students
Southern New Hampshire University also recognized local talent, with four students making the fall 2024 president’s list. To qualify, students must achieve a GPA of at least 3.7 while maintaining full-time status.
The students earning this honor are:
- Daniel Triebwasser from Sagle
- Brooke Ramsey from Priest River
- Tonisha Martin from Ponderay
- Maggee Pankoke from Blanchard
Southern New Hampshire University has a long history of education and currently serves over 200,000 students around the world.
Adams Performs in Holiday Concert
Hannah Adams from Belmont University participated in the large-scale performance “Christmas at Belmont: Live from Nashville.” The event featured over 600 student musicians and vocalists, showcasing a variety of musical styles.
Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Jeffery Ames, emphasized the diversity of the concert, which included choirs, orchestras, and even pop and country ensembles. The performance provided a glimpse into Belmont’s extensive music program.
Located near downtown Nashville, Belmont University educates nearly 9,000 students from various backgrounds.
