Author Talk at Martin House Books
Join Peter August, Janice Sassi, and Daniel T. Cole for a discussion and signing of their book “Napatree Point, A Decade of Stewardship.” This event will take place at 6 p.m. at Martin House Books in Westerly.
United Table: Can the Catch
At 7 p.m., The United will host a panel discussing value-added fish products. You can taste delicious samples, including St. Ours broth. Tickets are $25.
Wakefield Idol
This karaoke-style competition runs from January 9 to March 27 at the Contemporary Theater Company. Catch 64 local singers battling for a cash prize on Thursday nights. It’s a great way to enjoy local talent!
Trinity Rep Presenting “Someone Will Remember Us”
This play shares real experiences of U.S. military veterans and civilians. Don’t miss it at Trinity Rep in Providence, with various showtimes available.
Gamm Theatre: “Between Riverside and Crazy”
Catch this powerful drama, running Tuesday to Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Directed by Jeff Church, this play is sure to leave you thinking.

An Evening with the Knickerbocker-All Stars
At 8 p.m., enjoy a Valentine’s Day Dance featuring local music. Tickets are $20.
Doc Wood & Friends Valentine’s Concert
Head to Cross’ Mills Library at 6 p.m. for a folk concert filled with romantic tunes. A lovely way to celebrate love!
Forensic Science Seminar
URI is hosting a talk on “Cultivating cannabis and alcohol awareness” at 3:30 p.m. This seminar is free and informative.
Ice in the Village
At Olde Mistick Village, enjoy ice sculptures and a scavenger hunt starting Saturday at noon. A fun activity for families!
Wheeler Library Concert
Enjoy a free concert by the Ellipsis Woodwind Trio at 4 p.m. Donations are appreciated to support the library.
Letting Our Voices Be Heard
This celebration will feature food trucks, music, and art showcasing Black heritage and culture. It’s happening at Mitchell College from 1 to 5 p.m.
